Subtext • Homeroom

I had the pleasure to take part in the 'Homeroom' group show at Subtext Gallery in San Diego.

The show was curated by the lovely Christina Conway (Above image by Soey Milk).
Homeroom attempts to rediscover the nostalgia of youth and innocent creativity. Each artist for this exhibition found a piece from their childhood and reinterpreted it in their current style.

Here are some process shots of my contribution:

Homeroom opens this Friday. 11•11•11.

In other news:
Juan 'The Air Bison' Solon and I will be heading down to New York City tomorrow for Illustration week and the American Illustration Party. If you're going to the AI AP party, come say hi! We'll be the ones dressed in head to toe Uniqlo. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Ok, that piece at the bottom is looking crazy. Wish I could see it in person. Great work Nimit.
